Your Gud at Writin Stuf

I just got an email from a writing website that had several article links, including one titled "7 Signs Your a Professional" and the first thing I thought was "One of them has to be that you know the difference between 'your' and 'you're'."

  1. Ding-ding-ding! Your so write!

I can't bear to read the emails I get from my manager at work. Apparently the NC public education system leaves a lot to be desired. Here's a sample; "Your suppose to send that to..." No, it's not a typo, that's her typical usage. So sad that she gets paid more than me.

  2. Oh, don't get me started on my grammar hobby horse! ;)
I just had to come and comment. I read this and just after went to facebook where someone (who considers himself to be a poet) had just posted "I'm so envyess!" Bwhahahaha! I had to come back and share.

  4. Envyess??? That took extra effort to even decipher! Crazy. And Valerie, yes, those are all pretty annoying.
