I just referred to my dogs as "All y'all." As in, "Good grief! Why are you bothering me? ALL Y'ALL GO OUTSIDE!"
I've spent the last two days writing and editing fiendishly on many projects for magazines and the internet. Apparently my inner white trash had to seep out somehow.
Search Amazon.com for anything you need!
I have a strong streak of inner white trash, too. Which is pretty weird because I come from a background of totally rich people. But still, you know, I like the idea of pink flamingos in the front yard, and broken-down lawnmowers in the back.
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd swing by to make another lap around the endless loop by which we are playing fire with the fate of the universe. You ever hear of that guy who won a Darwin award for dying as a result of seeing how long he could keep his head on the railroad track without having the train hit it? I wonder if this is kinda like that. Like, how many times can we do this before reality falls apart?
No one else who reads your blog is going to have any idea what I'm talking about, and generally I don't like these kinds of inside joke things, but in this one isolated instance I just couldn't resist.
Keep on keeping on, and thanks for stopping by over at my place!
Universe-collapsingly,
Siren
I'm really kind of just barely white trashy, with a pinch of redneck. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure we're going to break the internet. I'm oddly excited about this, considering how much time I spend on it. But no matter, I'm going to be returning to your blog for sure. Because I like to live dangerously (plus I kind of like you).
It always rises to the top. You never know when but it does.
ReplyDeleteLike cream, right? Just like that. :)

ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I used that phrase after moving to KY in front of my midwest-raised daughter. She about had a cow.
Thanks for coming and checking out my blog after reading the niche writing post! "Had a cow" is also excellent. :)
